     she works her way around your life
          and takes root in your pride.

She has one purpose and you'll never be the one happy,
     but still you try.

Like a fierce blaze running unchecked through the plains,
     you can't help but want to touch this untamed fire.

Playing all her cards up front, a pair of Queen's Twisted Facts but not a single Two of Lies,
     Still you have to dance.

You whisper I love you and she can only laugh.
     One more fly in her sensual web.
     One more life claimed for the other side.

She's been gone forever and you're just waking to the truth, with scars of burns-turned-unforgettable-permanent-lines,
     you'll never be able to hold the Devil's Sweet Wild Child.
